Morris Chapman

This past week I had the great opportunity to shoot Morris Chapman. He is a well known gospel singer and the shoot was for his album cover of his new upcoming album. We shot it down at "The Strand" and it was a fun shoot. Morris showed up just as he was and thats how we shot him.....very natural.....as you can see.

Gaby's Senior Images

This past week, I had the absolute priviledge of shooting a great friend's senior pictures. Gaby and I decided to just stroll around and capture more of Gaby's personality rather than going for the cheese (sitting infront of a seemless wearing white linens) haha.....and yes, my senior pics were just that. She was so great to shoot and I hope you can catch just a little bit of her joy through the images we got. enjoy!

Shooting Aerial This Week

One of the best things about being a photographer is that you never know what you will be shooting next. This was the case for me this week when I shot aerial shots over a large stretch of the coastline. And of course you can factor in that I am terrified of heights. haha. When we were prepping for the shoot, the pilot came and secured my seatbelt.....once he did, he scratched his head while looking at the buckle and said under his breath.. "that wont work..." and then walked inside. Talk about comfort huh? He then ran back outside and put a piece of scotch tape across the buckle so that one of my straps didnt unlock it!!! HAHA. You can just picture my face about then. Anyways, obviously I survived and came away with some really fun shots.

Shooting Locations

This past week has been nuts!! I first of all apologize for the lack of blogging recently. I have been shooting every day and will have a lot of fun things to blog about. I have been shooting locations and area shots of a few local coastal destinations. I had Michael Norwood come and help me. Check out his blog to see a couple more shots of the day. It has been quite an active week of shooting the locations..... everything from climbing mountains, driving boats and running from security guards...... its been a blast. When having to get an identity for your business, I believe there is no better way than to get a fresh set of eyes on your "look." Robert Nienhuis is a great friend and is the designer who has taken on my identity. I coudn't be happier with the direction.
